KNOVA Recognized for Contributing Over $3 Million in Leveraged
HP OpenView Sales
Cupertino, CA, January 30, 2006 - KNOVA Software (OTC Bulletin
Board: KNVS), a leading provider of Service Resolution Management (SRM) applications,
today announced that it received an HP OpenView 2005 Achiever's Award at the HP
Software Universe 2005 conference in Nice, France. KNOVA, an HP OpenView Platinum
Business Partner within the Enterprise Management Alliance Program (EMAP), was recognized
for contributing over $3 million in leveraged HP OpenView sales during the company's
fiscal year 2005.
The HP OpenView Achiever's Awards are presented to independent software vendors
that have made significant contributions to HP sales by providing solutions that
complement and enhance HP software or hardware offerings, and therefore positively
influence purchasing decisions.
KNOVA's award-winning suite of SRM applications helps companies automate the resolution
process across multiple channels including help desks, contact centers and self-service
sites. KNOVA's next-generation search and knowledge management solution integrates
with HP OpenView Service Desk to better enable help desk agents to resolve employee
and customer issues quickly and accurately.
The integration of KNOVA Knowledge Desk with HP OpenView Service Desk enables customers
to recognize cost savings in their corporate service centers by shortening training
times, resolving issues faster and lowering call volume by diverting calls to Web
self-service. In addition, KNOVA helps customers to comply with IT service management
(ITSM) standards and the ITIL framework.
"We are delighted to be recognized by HP for this Achiever's Award. Our partnership
with HP helps companies power their ITSM initiatives and optimize the service resolution
process with next-generation knowledge management applications," said Ben Kaplan,
vice president of marketing for KNOVA Software. "Our success as an HP partner is
a direct result of our joint customers' ability to improve the effectiveness of
their help desks, reduce support costs, and improve internal customer satisfaction."
