Patent Optimizes User Experience with Unique Knowledge Retrieval
that Combines Structured Data with Query Context, Unstructured Content and Auto-Classification
Cupertino, CA, March 27, 2006 - KNOVA Software (OTC Bulletin Board:
KNVS), a leading provider of Service Resolution Management applications, today announced
that it has been issued U.S. Patent No. 6,980,984 for innovative and unique search
and knowledge retrieval technology. The patent, entitled "Content Provider Systems
and Methods Using Structured Data," describes KNOVA's unique methods for implementing
content provider systems and methods using structured data. This patent includes
53 claims concerning the melding of structured data, such as numbers and dates,
with unstructured data such as text, in the process of retrieving knowledge.
